1. alpine hunter with pipe pausing to rest, rich alpine scene background; 2. Elk on cliff with saddled horse hunter and his dog; 3. Alpine hunter capturing his fallen prey mountain scene in the background. 5 paneled lid depicts stags, hunting dogs, elk, wild boar, and quail.  Top ornamentation: An eagle, Germanys national symbol.  Base has a decorative border of hops malt.
